We created a 3D animation for Rotom showcasing their Mobilrack – a mobile pallet racking system designed for flexible warehouse storage. It's a galvanized, TÜV-certified modular system that can be deployed within hours and dismantled just as quickly, ideal for businesses with seasonal storage needs.

Instead of the standard approach – product on a white background with simple text – we created a full, photorealistic warehouse environment. We built a comprehensive 3D scene with attention to detail: authentic materials, atmospheric lighting, and dynamic camera movements that guide viewers through the product's key features. The animation combines cinematic character with industrial aesthetics, using neon accents and dramatic lighting to transform a seemingly ordinary warehouse product into a visually captivating story.

Project outline

The client needed an animation to promote a product that, on the surface, is quite ordinary – warehouse racking that simply stands in storage facilities. The challenge was transforming this straightforward industrial product into something visually compelling and attention-grabbing.

Rather than taking the conventional route – product on a white background with simple text overlays – we went a step further. The goal was to create a full warehouse environment with realistic materials and showcase the product in real-world application scenarios that potential customers could immediately relate to.

Stylistics and Concept

We built a complete 3D warehouse environment with photorealistic materials, atmospheric lighting, and attention to industrial authenticity. Galvanized metal finish, wooden pallets, cardboard textures – everything was crafted to feel tangible and real.

The animation progresses from showcasing base components to demonstrating modular assembly and stacking capabilities, culminating in wide shots of fully-utilized warehouse space. Dynamic camera movements guide viewers through key features while maintaining a cinematic, premium feel. We used dramatic lighting – neon accents, volumetric shadows, and depth of field – to elevate what could be a mundane subject into something visually striking and modern.

The end result

The result is a 3D animation that transforms warehouse equipment into premium visual content. By placing Mobilrack in a realistic, fully-realized environment rather than isolating it on a white background, we created something that resonates with the target audience – warehouse operators who can immediately see themselves using this solution.
